Gracie Loves George

Gracie (formerly known as "Dawn" on the adoption website) is not even two years old yet but she's been bounced around quite a bit in her short life.
Her first owners purchased her to be a livestock guardian dog but that didn't end up working out so they relinquished her to rescue.

Gracie spent a few months in foster care before she found her "forever" home with Linda Weaver and her family. Gracie has settled in well with the Weavers and is a very sweet girl but Linda sensed there was something "missing", that Gracie seemed to have a void that she longed to fill.

Here is where George enters the picture. George is a Pyrenees x Shepherd mix who's mother decided she didn't want to be a mother anymore. Linda took him home and guess who decided to appoint herself as George's mother/guardian/teacher/?
Yep, you guessed it......Gracie! Gracie needed George just as much as George needed Gracie. The two of them are inseparable and they adore each other.
Gracie is very watchful and protective of George and George adores Gracie with all of his little puppy heart.

This is a picture of the two of them taking a break from a busy day :-)

Here's wishing Gracie and George much happiness and friendship. A special thank you to the Weaver Family for giving both of these dogs such a great home.
