UPDATES AND HAPPY TALES

Not too long ago I posted this extremely sad picture of Starla when she was in a shelter in southern Colorado.
Starla had been found as a stray and spent about a week in the shelter, waiting for someone to reclaim her.
No one came for her so we pulled her and had to board her at a vet clinic for almost 3 weeks.

Starla's luck finally turned and she found a wonderful family that wanted to adopt her. Her new name is "Ayla" and she has been in her new home for almost two weeks.
You can tell by this picture that she is already feeling better and is starting to enjoy life.
We wish Ayla and her new family many years of belly rubs and happiness.

UPDATE: LGD girls in NEW MEXICO

Annie and Jessie will soon be traveling to California to their new home.
Thank you to everyone that offered to help these young ladies. We hope their new home will work out well for them.

LGD'S IN NORTH CAROLINA:
We are planning on picking this family of 3 up this weekend and take them into foster care in West Virginia. We will have them vetted and evaluated and then work on finding homes for them. We first need to see what kind of shape they are in and what their personalities are like, etc.
Stay tuned! Hopefully these 3 will soon be on their way to better lives.
