HOUSTON TEXAS: UPDATE ON NADIDE, MAMMA DOG PULLED FROM KILL SHELTER

Last month I posted this picture of Nadide as she was sitting on death row at a Houston shelter. Her pups were rescued by another group but they decided they didn't want to take Nadide because she tested positive for heartworm.

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers in TX, Nadide was pulled from the shelter and was soon in a loving foster home.

Nadide has been out of the shelter for almost a month now. Her hair is growing back, she is putting on some weight and she is LOVING life!

Dr. Pat says Nadide may be younger than anyone thought as she is very bouncy and puppy-ish. She is an extremely sweet, good natured girl and she is getting along great with the other dogs in the foster home.

Let's hope Nadide has a very long and happy life ahead of her.
Thank you to all of the good people that helped to make this happen for her.
