Paterson is just a pup but he has had a rough life in such a short time. When he was 18 wks old he broke his leg. The owners took him to the vet, who put a cast on but the owners did not follow through with proper care after they brought him home. Paterson ended up back at the vet and the owners decided to just abandon him at that point.
The vet clinic has been caring for him and feel he is now ready to find a proper home of his own.

Paterson's appx DOB is August, 2009. He weighs appx 80 lbs and is a bit small for his age due to the physical hardships he has suffered in his short life. His owners said he is a "Kangal Dog".

He is friendly with people and seems to be good with children.
He needs a foster or adoptive home that will be able to work with him on basic obedience skills.
He very much wants to bond with people and is eager to please.
His cast will be ready to be taken off in July.

This is a very nice pup and he has great potential if he can just find someone willing to work with him and give him love and stability.
