NEW MILFORD, PA: 1 Year old NEUT MALE ANATOLIAN (cross?) NEEDS FOSTER OR ADOPT
Paterson is just a pup but he has had a rough life in such a short time. When he was 18 wks old he broke his leg. The owners took him to the vet, who put a cast on but the owners did not follow through with proper care after they brought him home. Paterson ended up back at the vet and the owners decided to just abandon him at that point. While in his foster home it was decided to amputate his leg as there was no chance of recovery for that leg. He is now doing great since his surgery and enjoying life as a 3 legged dog.
Paterson's DOB is June 17, 2009. He weighs appx 80 lbs and is a bit small for his age due to the physical hardships he has suffered in his short life. His owners said he is a "Kangal Dog".
He is friendly with people and seems to be good with children. Just needs to learn some socialization skills in new situations. He needs a foster or adoptive home that will be able to work with him on basic obedience skills.
