Meet Sandy.  She is an 8 yo spayed female
Anatolian Shepherd Dog.
She lived with the same family since she was a little pup
however the owners said she
was getting out of their fence lately.
So when she was picked up by animal control
they chose not to go get her.
So Sandy found herself in a noisy, scary shelter,
not knowing that she would be euthanized
in a few short days.
Luckily, thanks to 2 wonderful volunteers,
Sandy made it out of the shelter and is now in foster care.

Sandy is a very sweet lady.  She is friendly
with all she meets and lets you know by wagging
her big fluffy tail.
She's been good with all of the dogs she has been introduced to
and, even though she is 8 yrs old, she still gets spunky
and wants to play.
