NASRN NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

Have you ever asked yourself how you can help a rescue dog?
We are always in need of volunteers!

EMAIL US FOR A VOLUNTEER APPLICATION!

How can you help?  Here are some of the Volunteer Opportunities available:

Administrative Support Help with data entry needed to maintain adoption profiles, answering emails, etc.

Adoption Counselors  If you are person with good people skills you may be able to help interview and advise potential adopters on-line, on the phone or in person to see if the dog  they are interested in will be a good match.

Adoption Coordinators:  Help applicants find the dog that best suits their needs and then guide them through the adoption process.

Transport; local or "relay runs":  Transport dogs locally to/from vet appointments, from a shelter to boarding, etc, or help on a relay run transport when we move dogs to their foster or adoptive homes.

Transport Coordinators: When dogs are adopted out of their area we have to set up “relay run” transport to get them to their new home or foster home. Transport Coordinators map out the route and seek drivers to fill each “leg” of the transport.  Good organizational skills are a plus.

Special Events: We attend various special events throughout the year. This gives the animals in our care extra adoption options and let's the public know who we are. Volunteers are always needed at these events to help in various ways including setting up booths, speaking with the public, helping to sell merchandise and running activities. Speak with the public about the dogs we have up for adoption, attend to animals during the event, assist with adoptions.

Other opportunities are available as well
